St. James Town tenants receive grant to organize, mobilize community

Low rent cap doesn't satisfy either side
Posted Jul 4, 2007 - The provincial benchmark that caps most rent increases has been announced for 2008, and it's the lowest in 20 years. But both the Federation of Metro Tenants' Associations and the Greater Toronto Apartment Association have reasons for disliking the new formula used to set the cap.
