Building on CLEONet, CLEO is developing "Your Legal Rights" – a new legal information portal for Ontario – and we need your help to ensure that it is effective and easy-to-use.
The new website, which will be launched in the fall of 2011, will include CLEONet's extensive collection of legal information resources, breaking news and events, and training webinars, along with some exciting new features, including:
- Services Map: An interactive map of contact information for key legal and social service organizations across Ontario.
- Common Questions: Questions and answers to everyday legal problems that guide users to more in-depth resources on the web site.
We need your input
In the coming weeks, we will be asking you, our community of users and stakeholders, for your feedback in a variety of ways:
- Usability tests on the wireframes or blueprints for the site. These tests take less than five minutes to complete and help us ensure that people can find information on the site easily.
- Feedback on the beta or "work-in-progress" version of our Services Map so we can confirm the information we have is correct and gather information about other organizations and services to add to our growing database.
- Feedback on draft "Common Questions" and suggestions about other questions to include
- User testing on a preliminary design for the site.
How to get involved
If you would be willing to help us with our testing, or if you would like more information on the development of "Your Legal Rights", please contact Fiona MacCool, CLEONet Project Manager, at
We greatly appreciate your participation.
