Injured Workers' Consultants legal clinic library now available online
Posted April 21, 2009 - With the financial support of the Law Foundation of Ontario, Injured Workers' Consultants has set up a web version of its library catalogue to provide better access to its collection, which includes key legislation and case law, with a focus on historical and current law reform materials.

New citizenship law to take effect April 17
Posted April 16, 2009 - A new citizenship law, which comes into effect April 17, will grant citizenship to certain people who lost it and to others who will be recognized as citizens for the first time. It will also limit citizenship by descent to one generation outside Canada.

Submissions invited for poverty bill hearings
Posted April 14, 2009 - Two days of hearings on Bill 152, the Poverty Reduction Act, will take place on April 20 and 21 at Queen's Park in Toronto. Presenters can comment on the Bill and make recommendations for how it could be improved. Oral presentations must be registered by 12:00 noon on Thursday, April 16, 2009.
