Expanding the meaning of 'dangerous offender'
Posted August 5, 2011 - A man convicted of murder through HIV transmission has been labelled a dangerous offender after an Ontario court ruled that he can't be trusted to disclose his condition to future sex partners. A National Post editorial says this case sets a precedent that will almost certainly prove applicable in cases such as those dealing with chronic impaired driving offenders.
